The Challenge
A growing UK property events business had built a loyal audience — but their digital infrastructure couldn’t keep up. Events were promoted ad hoc, bookings came in over email, and there was no reliable way to keep members engaged between events.
They needed a single platform to handle everything: event promotion, ticketing, payments, member management, and ongoing communication — all without adding headcount.
Our Approach
We mapped the full member journey first — from discovery to registration to repeat attendance — and designed the platform around that flow rather than bolting features together.
- Built a clean, event-focused website with dedicated pages for each upcoming event — dates, speakers, venue, and agenda all in one place
- Integrated a seamless online booking and ticketing system with real-time seat availability
- Enabled secure payment gateways supporting card, bank transfer, and digital wallets for friction-free checkout
- Added referral programmes and discount codes to incentivise word-of-mouth and drive new registrations
- Built a dedicated member portal where users can register, manage their profile, and browse upcoming events in one dashboard
- Implemented push notifications and automated email reminders triggered by event proximity, new listings, and member milestones
- Created a members-only content area with post-event resources, recordings, and networking directories to increase stickiness
- Integrated CRM tools to centralise client data, track leads, and analyse event performance in real time
- Set up automated follow-up sequences — post-event surveys, thank-you emails, and early-bird reminders for the next event
- Built an event analytics dashboard giving the client instant visibility into registrations, revenue, and engagement by event
- SEO-optimised all event pages and integrated social sharing to expand organic reach between paid campaigns
The Results
The platform launched within 10 weeks and immediately replaced the client’s manual workflows. Within 12 months, event bookings had grown by 340% — driven equally by a better booking experience and the automated remarketing that kept existing members re-engaging.
The single biggest win wasn’t the volume increase — it was turning a transactional ticketing flow into a genuine member community. Repeat attendance rates climbed significantly once members had a portal to return to and communications that felt personal rather than broadcast.
"Before this platform, we were managing everything manually — spreadsheets, email chains, the lot. Now the system runs itself and our members actually look forward to our events."
